From Jules Verne to Douglas Gibson, futurist art has continually shaped our every day lives — and often, mere decades later.
Warsaw 2098 is a design contest that challenges the 3D Game Artists who build futurist and fantasy worlds everyday, to reimagine what a skyscraper could look after an apocalypse.
The design must defy reason but also suspend disbelief. How far can we push the limits of creativity while representing renewal and harmony with nature?
The first collaboration of its kind, Warsaw 2098 will bring these builders of brave new worlds — and a seasoned judging panel of high profile architects and designers who know what it takes to build in this world.
The contest is open to all Polish based designers who are versed in Unreal Engine 4. Entrants submit their 3D designs on warsaw2098.com.
Shortlisted entrants will be featured in the media — and will win VIP tickets to the first Unreal Engine 4 VR Masterclass in Warsaw on 21st April 2018 — plus free software and usage licenses.
